- After receiving word that yet another one of Los Angeles’ remaining bio-diesel stations was closing we decided to take matters into our own hands. Our friends at OC Biodiesel are now delivering the highest quality bio-diesel to our property on a regular basis. OC Biodiesel only works with producers and suppliers that share this standard of quality. All shipments are tested to ensure that the biodiesel they sell meets the ASTM D6751 specification. Although they currently sell biodiesel made from soy and other first use oils they anticipate offering product made from recycled and other, more sustainable, feedstocks in the near future. For more information on how you can have bio-diesel for your vehicle delivered to your home or office please visit www.ocbiodiesel.net.

Although photography is most often associated with truthfulness, it has also been used to produce works of fiction. “Staging” shots has seen varying degrees of acceptance over the years – however it has persisted as an artistic approach. Spanning photography’s history and expressing a range of sentiments this exhibit is drawn from the museums own collection. For more information please visit www.getty.edu. -

"Here's how it works: public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests on DonorsChoose.org. Requests range from pencils for a poetry writing unit, to violins for a school recital, to microscope slides for a biology class.
Then, you can browse project requests and give any amount to the one that makes your eye twinkle. Once a project reaches its funding goal, we deliver the materials to the school. You'll get photos of your project taking place, a thank-you letter from the teacher, and a cost report showing how each dollar was spent. If you give over $100, you'll also receive hand-written thank-you letters from the students.
At DonorsChoose.org, you can give as little as $1 and get the same level of choice, transparency, and feedback that is traditionally reserved for someone who gives millions. We call it citizen philanthropy. Since launching in 2000, DonorsChoose.org has empowered more than 200,000 teachers and citizen philanthropists to become change makers.
Our vision is of a nation where students in every community have the resources they need to learn."

Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace.
